Essential oils

Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found un the seeds, stems, roots and other parts of plants. They can be both beautifully and powerfully fragrant. If you have ever enjoyed the gift of a rose, a walk by a eld of lavender, or the smell of freshly cut mint, you have experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. Essential oils can lift the mood, calm the senses and elicit powerful emotional responses. Yet the use of essential oils goes well beyond their fragrant appeal.

Essential oils have been used throughout history in many cultures for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits. Modern trends towards more holistic approaches to self care and growing scientific validation of alternative health practices are driving a rediscovery of the profound health benefits of essential oils. Many have powerful cleansing properties and are naturally antimicrobial. Their unique chemical structure allows them to pass directly through the skin for immediate systemic response to topical application. And certain oils may be used as dietary aids to promote vitality and well-being.

Fragrances move us: they touch our minds, our hearts, and inner physical spaces the core of our being.
Oils can relax, rejuvenate, sooth or stimulate. Oils indulge the senses, shift moods and attitudes and often lift people out of symptoms of sickness even depression. Ancient healers believed a “happy heart” was the object of their service.

Aroma Therapy
We don’t need therapy to enjoy the benefits of the fragrances. It was originally called, “Aromacology” the study of fragrance and smell. So just because you like to essential oils it doesn’t mean you need therapy.
Essential Oils use to be called, “Quintessence” but than they dropped the, “quint” and kept the essence than later became essentials. In fact these oils were essential to their life and health in the ancient world
The ancient SWNWT would look at these crushed plants that they would soak in water and watch the oils rose to the top. They believed and documented that the oil of the plant, nut or food was actually the nervous system fluids of that plant, the intelligence and message of that plant in it’s highest forms. So they found ways to extract this oil.

So the essential oils in the ancient world were used for the supporting, purifying  and building the 5 aspects of ourselves. Mentally, Physically, Emotionally, Socially, and Financially.
